The Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship at Babson College has accepted 10 student businesses into the Babson College Business Hatcheries for the fall 2006 term.
Almost all are Web-driven entrepreneurs who conduct most of their business and sales online.
The Babson Hatcheries provide rent-free space and resources to current students in order to support their efforts to launch successful new businesses. The undergraduate and graduate Hatcheries provide a vibrant atmosphere conducive to sharing ideas and information among student teams, faculty, executives-in-residence and visiting entrepreneurs. The Hatcheries function like incubators where student entrepreneurs have access to professional and semiprivate workspace to grow their businesses.
