Portland, Oregon…Babson College in Wellesley, MA—the #1 Ranked Business School for Entrepreneurship—will graduate its first crop of Portland Fast Track MBAs on Friday, Sept. 5, 2008, 3-5 pm, at the World Trade Center, Portland, Oregon.
Acclaimed business executive and academic, Leonard Schlesinger, who was recently named Babson’s 12th President, will address 38 Fast Track MBA candidates from Babson’s F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
Babson’s Fast Track MBA uniquely combines Web-based study with face-to-face sessions where students learn from world-class faculty, business leaders, and perhaps most importantly, each other. It allows experienced business professionals to continue their careers while earning their MBA in just 24 months.
Portland’s Fast Trackers are mid-to-senior-level managers from some of the region’s most important companies--Intel, ESCO, Nike, Forest Pharmaceuticals, Tektronix, and Cascade Microtech among others--who want to be more versatile, mobile, and flexible within their organization and industry.
Students gather on campus for two days, approximately every six weeks for an interactive classroom experience. The Fast Track program begins with a five-day Residency Kickoff designed to introduce students to the program and each other.
