Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream June 19 and 20 at Babson

undefined

The Babson Players student theater group will present A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Thursday and Friday June 19 and 20, at 7:00 p.m.  The classic romantic comedy is the first “Shakespeare in the Park” summer production and will be performed outdoors at the Glavin Family Chapel at Babson College, Wellesley, Mass.

The play explores the themes of love, feminism and identity through a series of three interlocking plots.  Set in the fictional Fairyland, the story revolves around the wedding of Duke Theseus of Athens and the Amazonian queen, Hippolyta, and follows characters fighting to declare their own independence.

Bring the whole family!  Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
