Babson College will host the “Babson Global Forum: Marco Polo – The Road to China”on October 5-7, 2007 at the Palace Hotel on San Clemente island, Venice, Italy.
The Babson forum on the global economy will attract businesspersons, managers, and academics from 28 nations, who will discuss the event’s two main themes: the western business world as compared with the Asian markets, particularly China, and the Asian business world as compared with western markets, particularly Europe.

William F. Glavin Center for Global Management at Babson
The William F. Glavin Center for Global Management at Babson leads the College’s international initiatives and contributions to the advancement of its global management education. The Glavin Center brings Babson to the world, extending the College’s global reach and leadership through a network of partner institutions. Just as importantly, the Glavin Center brings the world to Babson, providing an international orientation to all facets of the College and ensuring that students receive the preparation they need to succeed as entrepreneurial leaders in the global economy.
The Glavin Center is comprised of regional Institutes and Global Program Services (GPS). The Institutes build partnerships with other leading institutions to develop international curriculum, conduct joint research, and host outreach programs. Global Program Services also works with these partner institutions to create global experiential learning opportunities and it provides support services for Babson students studying abroad and international students studying at Babson.
The Glavin Center ensures that Babson’s global community remains closely connected by hosting events around the world for students, alumni, and their families designed for networking and continued learning.
