Alison Barnard, MBA Class of 2004, has been named to Inc. magazine’s 30 Under 30: America’s Coolest Young Entrepreneurs List
Barnard is the owner of two clothing stores -- In-jean-ius and Twilight -- located in Boston’s North End neighborhood. “With a lifelong interest in fashion, Barnard used the skills she learned while attending Babson's business school to start her own retail store, centered around the one must-have clothing item for women: the perfect-fitting pair of jeans,” wrote Inc. about Barnard. She is also featured in the accompanying slide shows: 30 Under 30, The Next Big Ideas, and Start-Up Secrets.
“How new technologies, a proliferation of resources, and a disenchantment with the corporate world are making Generation Y the most entrepreneurial in history,” said the magazine in a feature story accompanying the Top 30 list.
