The Working Knowledge Research Center at Babson Executive Education (BEE) will hold its annual Conference May 4-5, 2009 to explore how the discipline of Knowledge Management may evolve and fully integrate with Workplace Learning, Human Capital Management, and Talent Management. The Conference will also look at the use of human performance technologies to support the union of these disciplines.
Babson Professor Tom Davenport, who holds the President's Chair in the Information Technology Management Division and Brook Manville, co-directors of BEE’s Working Knowledge Research Center, will lead the discussions. The Keynote speaker is Babson College President Len Schlesinger who will Webcast his address, Human Capital for Entrepreneurial Thought & Action.

Joseph Raelin, Asa S. Knowles Chair of Practice-Oriented Education, Northeastern University. Professor Raelin’s work is currently focused in two areas; work-based learning and the development of a new paradigm for leadership he calls “leaderful practice.”
