Lynn Meltzer, Ph.D., is President and Director of Research at the Research Institute for Learning and Development (Research ILD) and Director of Assessment at the Institute for Learning and Development in Lexington, MA. She holds appointments as an Associate in Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education and as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Tufts University Department of Child Development.
Meltzer will examine the recent findings on motivation and executive function processes (i.e., planning, organizing, self-checking) and their implications for college success. Discussion centers on the ways to engage and motivate students and build resilience in students with a diverse range of learning profiles.
