Babson is entering its seventh year of providing laptops to undergraduate students. For those seven years, we have partnered with IBM and Lenovo, the leading vendor of business laptops and a leader in the adoption of laptops in higher education. ThinkPads are known for their durability, high quality, and excellent support. Your laptop can be a great aid to your studies, and it’s beneficial to take a little time and get to know it.

This year’s ThinkPad T60 has the following specifications:
- Intel Core Duo T2400 (1.8 GHz) processor
- 60 GB Serial – ATA hard drive (5400 rpm)
- 14.1 inch XGA TFT display
- 128 MB video memory
- 1 GB DDR memory
- Combination CD read-write/DVD read drive
- 1 GB wired Ethernet networking
- Built-in wireless networking using the 802.11b/gstandard (Wi-Fi)
- Built-in Bluetooth
- Finger Print Security
MBA Laptop Program Babson College offers MBA students the opportunity to purchase a high powered ThinkPad T60 at a special discount price. We have worked with Lenovo to give the MBA students aggressive pricing on a Babson standard laptop. If you choose to purchase this laptop you not only receive substantial discounts on a T60 ThinkPad but you will also be eligible for full hardware and software support from the Babson IT Service Center.
The Babson Network
With over 9000 network ports on campus, you are rarely far from a network connection. Our wired network supports access speeds up to 100 Mb/sec. In addition to the wired network, Babson also offers wireless access in all of the Residence Halls, Horn Library & Computer Center, Olin Hall, Reynolds Campus Center and Babson Executive Conference Center.
