You are not required to purchase a printer and Babson does have network printers available for your use. The library and labs have printing facilities and many students choose not to purchase printers due to high costs of upkeep (ink/repairs).

The T60 and T43 models both support USB while only the T43 will support parallel ports; so most printers on the market will work.  It is recommended that you choose a USB printer as this will be more compatible as parellel printers are being phased out.  Most students are comfortable with a color ink/bubble jet. We do recommend that if you choose to purchase a printer you should look for one with USB capabilities since it is a newer, faster and more reliable technology.
