With over 9000 network ports on campus, you are rarely far from a network connection. Our wired network supports access speeds up to 100 Mb/sec. In addition to the wired network, Babson also offers wireless access in the Residence Halls, Horn Library & Computer Center, Olin Hall, Reynolds Campus Center and Babson Executive Conference Center. Some of the services available over the Babson network are:

• E-mail
• Network Printing
• Network Drives
• Online Services such as the Babson Portal and Blackboard

You will need your Babson account to access most network services.

Connecting to the Network

All faculty, staff, and undergraduate computers provided by ITSD come pre-configured to access our network. Just connect your computer to a network port and enter your username and password to log on the Babson domain.

Graduate students and anyone else who bring their own personal computer on campus will need to bring the computer to the IT Service Center in Horn 220 if they would like to have it added to the Babson domain.

If you only want to access the Internet, you can plug your computer into any network port. No other configurations are necessary.
