Computer Labs Horn Computer Lab and Library Group Study Rooms
The Horn 150 computer lab (also called the 24 hour lab) is located immediately inside the entrance to the Horn Computer Center. This lab contains 4 computers, each equipped with a DVD burner and a scanner. There is also an instructor workstation, projector and network printer available. To access the lab 24 hours a day, just swipe your Babson OneCard at the entrance.
Computers with plasma screen connections and access to network printers are available in most of the Horn Library during .
Olin Computer Lab and Library Alcove
The Olin Computer Lab (Olin 008) is equipped with thirty workstations, one high-speed laser printer, and one instructor workstation, complete with large-screen projection capability. There are also eight group-study rooms, each with a phone, computer workstation and large-screen computer monitor located on the first floor. The Olin Library Alcove, located outside Olin 005, has four workstations: two dedicated to library services and two for e-mail. The Olin Computer Lab is open 24 hours.
Printing
Printing from the public workstations and computer labs in Olin and Horn uses the Uniprint Print Management System.
Lab Policies
Please follow these policies when working in a Computer Lab:
- No food or drinks are allowed.
- Do not install your own software or hardware.
- Copying of software is prohibited.
Note: When leaving a public workstation, it is important to log out of the computer when you are finished. If you do not log out, the next person that sits at that PC may be able to gain access to your private information such as your e-mail.
