The Babson College Strategic Plan 2003 was approved by the Board of Trustees on May 10, 2003.

Since that time, we have made excellent progress on our Strategic Plan.  We moved from designing the “road map” to implementing many of the initiatives, as well as planning how we would raise the resources for major initiatives in our upcoming capital campaign.

In March 2007, a Strategic Plan Advisory Committee was convened to begin a process of re-examining and updating the Strategic Plan. The Committee’s charge is to encourage community input, to review all suggestions and ideas, and to provide its own recommendations with regard to the Plan. The faculty elected four of its members to serve on the Committee: two have two-year appointments and two will serve for one-year. Four staff members, broadly representing all staff constituencies, were nominated by the President’s Cabinet.

Beginning with the 2007-08 Academic Year, the Committee will broadly publicize our cumulative progress on the Plan. Open forums also will be conducted to assess the community response to initiatives in the Plan that have not been implemented, as well as to identify new opportunities and emerging needs proposed by our students, faculty and staff.
