Building Services

Building Service personnel provide 24 hour routine cleaning services to the Babson Community. 

Routine building services include:

• Blind repair/replacement
• Carpet cleaning and spot removal
• Emergency cleanups
• Floor restoration
• Furniture moves
• Pest control
• Recycling Program
• Re-lamping
• Snow removal [from sidewalks and stairways]
• Trash Removal

Private Residences

Housekeeping services are provided for public areas, but residents maintain individual rooms and suites.

Students living in suites are provided with cleaning products available through their Resident Assistant (RA).  In addition, scheduled suite bathroom cleaning is also available.   To schedule a suite bathroom cleaning:

1. Log in to the Babson Portal and submit a work request for cleaning  by Friday at noon the week prior
2. You will receive an email scheduling the cleaning
3. All personal items must be removed in order for the bathroom to be cleaned
4. It is not necessary for residents to be present for the cleaning

Note: Facilities reserves the right to inspect suite bathrooms. If found to be unacceptable, Facilities will clean them and bill the occupants for the service.

Academic Buildings

Generally public areas are cleaned daily and private offices twice a week.
