Building Trades
Building Trades personnel are responsible for routine and capital repairs to all administrative and classroom buildings and student residence halls. Highly skilled staff work efficiently in areas ranging from plumbing and HVAC (heating, ventilating and air-conditioning) to locking devices and life safety systems.

Construction & Planning
FMP is responsible for campus planning, space utilization, major renovations and all new construction as well as management of the Capital Plant Reinvestment program (CPR). and budget for Babson College. Our CPR program provides planning and budgets for known cyclical repair and replacement requirements (e.g roofs) that will extend the life and functional condition of campus facilities

Emergency Preparedness
During non-business hours an on call manager is available to handle facilities-related emergencies. In the event of an environmental, federal or state crisis, Babson College has developed and implemented Crisis Management Plan.
Faculty, staff and students are advised to contact Public Safety at ext. 5555 to report all types of emergencies. Anyone noticing anything of concern and out of the ordinary such as chemical odors, system failures or unusual behavior, should notify Public Safety immediately.
