Babson’s new  Graduate graduation honors policy as follows:

Honors at graduation are awarded to graduate students by program as follows: 

• Summa Cum Laude:  Students with top 5% highest GPAs by program.
• Magna Cum Laude:  Students with next 10% highest GPAs by program.
• Cum Laude:  Students with next 10% highest GPAs by program.

The awards are determined based on GPA averages of all graduates  -- by program --  from within the current academic year. Babson does not release the specific GPA cutoff information to students. Program is defined as students enrolled in the One Year, Two Year, Fast Track or Evening MBA program. 

This policy will be effective as of July 1, 2007. 

Honors Tassels:

Summa Cum Laude - Gold

Magna Cum Laude – White
Cum Laude - Red
