FTC v. Kraft

This is the second of two cases that describe the Kraft Singles advertising campaign. It can be used by itself to understand why the Federal Trade Commission challenged the truthfulness of Kraft’s advertising claims. Alternatively, it can be linked with an earlier private false advertising lawsuit under the Lanham Act brought by Borden. This is an excellent case or set of cases to cover regulation of advertising in an advertising or marketing communications course.
