This case examines the temptation to send a text message to numerous cellular telephones advertising the availability of a low cost international long distance cell phone service. Conexus, the small firm under temptation, has only a small marketing budget, but must balance the nearly free cost of sending out a text message with the perception that it will be perceived as spam.
