Curious George and the Legal System

This case introduces business students to the legal system by examining licensing disputes involving Curious George, a well known children’s character. Much of the case involves a dream where the Attorney with the Leaher Briefcase explains the three sources of law to George: legislation, regulation, and litigation. The case also examines alternative dispute resolution, criminal law, and how to manage law as a competitive tactic. This case is intended to substitute for the first 2-6 introductory chapters in most Business Law and Legal Environment of Business textbooks.
