Make the Connection!
Babson College’s Corporate Recruiter Day 2008
Wednesday, April 30, 2008
What is Corporate Recruiter Day? Corporate Recruiter Day is a forum for informal exchange among human resource and recruitment professionals. It is an opportunity to share best practices, discuss changing trends, and learn from students and professionals. The program is designed for both new and experienced recruiters at both large and small organizations.
Are you wondering why your new hire wants to wear flip flops to work or why their e-mails look like Morse Code because of this thing called text messaging? Welcome to the world of the MILLENNIALS!
Who are the “millennials” and what do you do with them now that you have hired them? Come hear from the experts. Over the course of the day we will define this generation. Who are they and what makes them tick? What are their parents like and how did they get like this? We will also dive into the impact of millennials in the workplace. What should you expect from them and how do you get them to work across different generations?
In addition to two speakers, we will hear directly from the students that make up this generation. Always a highlight of our program, we will conclude with a student panel to answer your questions about recruiting and hiring them.
Please join us for the interesting and insightful day.
