Maybe you’re like many, looking for adventure and risk that appeals to your senses, but just can’t seem to find it?   Maybe you need to become more Global?

Venture out with the Global Society (SGA organization) members, and try new and culturally diverse foods and conversation.

Since the Babson student club originated in Fall 2005, each semester, the group has selected a different ethnic restaurant, and together as a group, venture out to tryout a new menu!

This semester the destination was the Brazilian style, “GREEN FIELD CHURRASCARIA” in Allston, MA. If you love BBQ and meat, you should check out Brazilian Cuisine, and go hungry because they won’t stop feeding you until you give them the RED light.

This October, a group of 25-30 members of the Global Society, and their advisor Rosemary Casey, enjoyed an all-you-can-eat extravaganza.

Churrascaria (Tchu-ras-ka-ria), which means "house of barbecue", is a tradition for more than three centuries in Brazil.

The roasting technique used on the meats conserves the characteristic taste of each meat leaving the cuts full of  natural juices and flavors.

We enjoyed a never-ending list of duck, rabbit, chicken, prime rib, steak tips, sausage, pork, etc… We recommend you don’t fill up too much on the delicious Brazilian bread and salad bar, because it’s all about the meat (and conversation).

To learn more about the club, please contact the President, Alan Lombardi at alombardi1@babson.edu.
