Program Description
Flag Football is back again by popular demand for 2008. This is a non-contact program designed for the camper who wants to learn some fundamentals while experiencing the enjoyment of playing flag football. Counselors will work with the campers to develop the proper fundamentals and techniques to throw and catch a football. In addition, campers will work on team defensive skills from blitzing against the pass rush to playing it safe. On offense, players learn how to create their own plays under the guidance of the coaches, both during a game and in the slower paced enviornment of the morning sessions.
Time is dedicated to both running with the football and running pass patterns to catch a football. The day concludes with a 7 on 7 game to incorporate the skills learned.
