Babson's Academic Honors Program offers an exceptional opportunity for outstanding students to enrich their undergraduate experience by studying with other top students in specially designed courses and projects. Students are either chosen at the end of their first year, based on their academic record, or admitted as Presidential Scholars, which means they are invited to join the honors program at the end of their first year. Honors students must maintain at least a 3.3 GPA.
Honors students take intellectually challenging courses; complete an international experience, such as junior year abroad or an international internship or coursework; and complete a two-semester honors project. Recent honors projects included:
Impact of Tourism on Eastern Maine's Economy
Woodblock Prints of Edo Japan
The Theme Park: Structure of Risk, Architecture of Escape
A Visual Ethnography of a Fishing Village in Pakistan
