The Management Consulting Field Experience (MCFE) allows students to apply business principles learned in the classroom to real-world consulting projects. Acting as a consulting group, students meet with the client, analyze problems, and explore solutions. Each team consists of three to five students and is managed by an MBA student and supervised by a faculty member. MCFE is an opportunity for students to put their core competencies in to action, gaining practical experience in negotiating, group dynamics, organization, planning and other management challenges. The project concludes with a report and a presentation to the sponsor company.
