Women's Leadership Program
The Women's Leadership Program for undergraduate women at Babson is an incredible opportunity for a select group of highly-motivated students to further build their leadership skills. Created and overseen by the Babson College Center for Women's Leadership, the program aims to enrich these students' educational experience and enhance their likelihood of achieving personal and professional success. Being selected for this program brings numerous opportunities to network with successful Babson alumnae, administrators and faculty, and to learn the art of leadership from those who know it best.

Each year approximately twenty first-year students are granted a Women's Leadership Award (annual scholarship equal to a quarter of tuition) and enrolled in the Women's Leadership Program. All female applicants are reviewed for the scholarship and selection is based upon demonstrated leadership qualities, a desire to grow as a business and community leader at Babson, and prior academic achievement.

Here are a few examples of what happens in our Women's Leadership Program:

  • Counseling and support from the program's director, Nan Langowitz
  • Networking with Babson alumnae, including members of the Boston and New York chapters of the Babson Women's Leadership Alumnae Council
  • Special events and workshops – examples include: Shakespeare and Leadership led by the founder of Shakespeare & Company; Networking & Mentoring: Keys to Success, a reception, panel presentation, and dinner with alumnae
  • Attending conferences that focus on women and leadership – recent events include the Girls, Money & Women conference and the New England Women's Leadership Awards.
