Summer is well underway here at Babson, summer classes are in full swing and we are getting ready for the annual visit of campers of all kinds in the weeks to come. One exciting project that got under way last week was the creation of a new community space for students call the upper quad. This is an open gathering space just beyond the campus center and adjacent to some of the upper class residence halls.
This project was initiated and championed by the Student Government Association (SGA) Executive Board of 2007-2008. This venture was funded by SGA, generous recent alumni, along with members of the class of 2008. I have posted a drawing of the plan as well as some recent photos of the construction. This is something to look forward to when you arrive in the fall.
