Dr. Boulnois is President and CEO of Microline Pentax, a subsidiary of Pentax in Tokyo, Japan, that develops, manufactures and markets laparoscopic surgical instruments worldwide.

 

Dr. Boulnois is also Founder and President of Interactive Consulting, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in Business Development for European early stage medical technology companies entering the US market.

From 2000 to 2004, Dr. Boulnois was Director, New Technology at Arrow International in charge of technology and market assessment in the New Business Development Group.

 

From 1995 to 2000, Dr. Boulnois was co-founder, President, and CEO of Sometec, an innovative international medical device company in the area of non-invasive monitoring. From 1990 until 1994, he was President and COO of Technomed International Inc., a medical company specializing in non-invasive technologies for urology. Prior to joining Technomed, he held various positions at Quantel SA, a French company where he developed scientific and medical lasers, first as staff scientist and later as Vice-President of Engineering. He was also a Director of Quantel International, the California parent company.

Dr. Boulnois is co-author of 5 books and more than 40 scientific articles in applied physics and biophysics. In 1976, he was Lecturer in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at Princeton University, and subsequently was Visiting Professor for 6 years at the Centre d'Etudes Supérieures de Mécanique at Paris University. Dr. Boulnois has been an invited speaker on Entrepreneurship at Groupe Vivendi, Centre de Perfectionnement aux Affaires, Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC), Princeton University, and Babson College. His research interests focus on cross-cultural business opportunities.

 

Dr. Boulnois is a member of the Advisory Council of the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department of Princeton University. Dr. Boulnois has a dual French-American citizenship and has lived in the United States for 21 years.
