The Babson Black Alumni Affinity strives to maintain the bond between the alumni, the current students, and the college community.

The 2016 Black Affinity Conference will be held

​This theme-driven conference was designed by a committee of alumni, current students, faculty, and administrators to present a program of professional development and networking.​

Ken Bouyer, Americas Director of Inclusiveness Recruiting, EY

Liz Walker

Ken is Ernst & Young's Americas Director of Inclusiveness Recruiting. Ken has served in a variety of roles since joining the firm's Assurance practice in 1990. Prior to his current role, Ken was an Americas Director in the Advisory Services Practice, serving various Global internal audit clients. He still continues to serve clients in the Advisory Practice.

As the Americas Director of Inclusiveness Recruiting, Ken is responsible for developing and implementing a recruiting strategy that focuses on creating a diverse talent pool. Inclusiveness at Ernst & Young is defined broadly and includes gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, and generational differences. Fostering an inclusive culture where all individuals can achieve their full potential is a global priority and a business imperative for Ernst & Young. The firm strives to reflect the changes in world demographics-taking into account the new mix of cultures and individual characteristics that build our talent pool.

Dr. Rudolph F. Crew '72 H'96

Rudy Crew is President of Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn, NY. A lifelong educator and author, Dr. Crew's career has spanned from the classroom to the chancellorship of the nation's largest school district, New York City Public Schools. In 2012, Dr. Crew was selected to serve as Oregon's first Chief Education Officer. Dr. Crew is a renowned leader and reformer who has made it a mission to improve student achievement, especially for poor and minority students. 



About the Black Alumni Achievement Award​

The Black Alumni Achievement Award was established in 2004 to recognize alumni who distinguish themselves in their given field as well as supports the college community around issues of diversity.
