From the Archives:  Pre-World War Two Babsonians
I have just finished scanning the Babsonians (the Babson Institute/Babson College yearbook) from the first issue in 1921 through 1943 when the Institute closed for the duration of the war. They are accessible from the Timeline or from the Babsonian page where all the yearbooks will be found by the summer of 2009.

From the Archives: Professor of the Year and the Thomas Kennedy Award for Teaching Excellence
At Saturday's Graduate and Undergraduate Commencements there were many awards given out. The commencement programs list the students and honorary degree recipients.  But, there are two awards to faculty which are not printed in the program.  The Professor of the Year is given by undergraduates and the Thomas Kennedy Award for Teaching Excellence is chosen by graduate students. This year's Professor of the Year is English professor Elizabeth Goldberg and the Thomas Kennedy Award went to management professor U. Srinivasa Rangan. A list of previous winners of both awards can be found at Awards on the Archives website. Congratulations to Professors Goldberg and Rangan!

From the Archives: Computers at Babson
In the summer of 1977 the Babson Alumni Magazine published an overview on the impact of computers on how we do things.  Enjoy.
