On His Unique Path
"While I was the captain of the track team, I became very involved with activities outside of sports. Working with the admission office and volunteers allowed me to give back and talk about my personal experiences as well as why I thought Babson was such a special place. And that actually got my foot in the door to my dream job. If I did not get involved and network, I would not have landed the job I love so much today."
On Faculty
"Amazing. Approachable. Caring. They take a keen interest in the success of each student and make themselves available outside of the classroom to give additional help with class or with life. They show up to sporting games, dance shows, and activities, supporting us as students and people. They made a profound impact not only on the type of business person I am today, but the type of person I am in society."
On Babson's Approach to Teaching
"After spending even a short time in the ‘real world', I could not be more grateful for the opportunities that FME and MCFE provided. It allowed me to dive into a fast-paced, demanding environment and make a profound and distinct impact right away. I have seen how advanced my skills are over those colleagues from other schools, especially in dealing with business relationships, customer relations, and technology in the business world."
Best Part of the Experience
"What I liked most at Babson was the opportunity to take chances, knowing I may not always succeed, but that I’d be supported if I could justify my reasoning. As the #1 school for entrepreneurship, Babson faculty, staff, and students know that sometimes you have to take a chance...in business, life, sports, and academics. You might not always succeed, but that does not necessarily mean failure. We learned far more from our failures than we did from our successes."
