Why Babson “Babson was the perfect balance between exceptional business academics and a small school environment where I could play sports. With Babson, I knew I wasn’t going to be taking Accounting 101 with 500 students. We learned accounting through “real life” experience through our FME class. This integrated approach and hands-on experience of the curriculum attracted me to the college.”
Most Surprising “The thing that surprised me most about Babson was how I was exposed to different types of business in which I would have never been exposed to if I was somewhere else. The great thing about Babson is that you are expected to try everything. Even if you don’t like some things, you might find something you do love—which I did—investment banking.”
On Babson’s Faculty “My teachers have gone above and beyond to help me out. I was just finishing my sophomore year and it was time to pick a concentration. I e-mailed my accounting professor to set up a meeting to discuss my options. He replied saying he was on vacation in California but he gave me his cell phone number to call him anytime. We ended up talking for over an hour about my options and his suggestions for me. He was very supportive in my end decision, and I love the fact that Babson’s size has allowed me to create these types of bonds with my teachers.”
Most Enjoyable “Being able to do everything is the best college experience. Getting a great education, participating in varsity sports, making great friends, and connecting with faculty and staff. I couldn’t have asked for a more well-rounded four years of college.” | Undergraduate Admission |
