On Global Experiences: "One of the best classes I have taken at Babson was a study abroad short course over last winter break called The London Stage in Winter. In addition to living in the west end for 2.5 weeks to study theater, there was plenty of time to do our own thing during the afternoon and nights. It was the best of both worlds -- a great class and although a short study abroad experience, an amazing one too.”
On His Unique Path: “I have taken full advantage of Babson’s liberal arts offerings. I feel that by taking a wide variety of classes in art, philosophy, and literature I not only get the creative outlet that I need but also now have the ability to hold a conversation about a lot of different subject areas outside of business. During the interviews for internships and jobs, I have been able to discuss my interest in the arts as an education in creativity; something very important to have as a Marketing concentrator."
On Babson’s Experiential Learning: “It makes everything that you learn completely applicable to business situations. Some of the most important experience you gain through the curriculum is not formal business book knowledge but instead things like leadership, group dynamics, problem solving, and confidence in front of a crowd.”
On the Babson Community: “It has gotten stronger every year that I have been here. As cheesy and cliché as it sounds, the Babson community has become my family away from home. We are all very much the same here but at the same time so very different. This dynamic creates a very diverse but tightly knit and supportive sense of community that I don’t think can be duplicated anywhere but here.” | This Is Your Babson Blog » Justin Brooks Well everyone I have awesome news and terrible news - I guess I’ll get through the terrible news first so here it goes… THIS IS MY LAST DAY AS AN ADMISSION INTERN AND MY LAST BLOG ENTRY :( Yup, the time has finally come for me to say goodbye.
