Research Centers In partnership with other campus organizations, our academic centers strive to deliver Babson’s mission of defining entrepreneurship for the world.
The Arthur M. Blank Center for Entrepreneurship houses the student business hatcheries and is the hub for all entrepreneurial activity on campus. It is the Center’s mission to lead the global advancement of entrepreneurship education and practice through the development of teaching, research, and outreach initiatives that inspire entrepreneurial thinking and cultivate entrepreneurial leadership in all organizations and society.
The Center for Women’s Leadership connects students with peers, women faculty, alumnae, and dynamic women business leaders globally to provide mentorship, support, and exposure. The Center offers an intensive one-to-one Mentor Program, matching high-profile women entrepreneurs and corporate leaders with our undergraduate women, and fosters opportunities for on-campus leadership roles for women students.
The Lewis Institute, sponsored by Alan E. Lewis, the chairman and CEO of Grand Circle Corporation, was recently announced in September of 2008. This groundbreaking institute will build on Babson’s initiatives in globally responsible leadership and social entrepreneurship, while bringing entrepreneurial thinking and critical resources to urgent global problems in education, health care, poverty, economic development, energy, the environment, and quality of life.
The Stephen D. Cutler Center for Investments and Finance provides a working lab for students pursuing financial analysis. It also is the home of the Babson College Fund, one of the nation’s only student-managed investment funds, which manages $1.2 million of the College’s endowment. The center’s resources also allow Babson to be the only college in the U.S. to provide Bloomberg Certification to undergraduate students.
The William F. Glavin Center for Global Management integrates international perspectives and activities of the College through research, academic programs, nonprofit groups, university affiliation programs, student and scholar services, and visiting scholars. The Center leads initiatives to advance global entrepreneurial management education and is home of the Asia Institute, Europe Institute, Institute for Latin American Business, and the Office of International Programs. Along with other campus organizations, the center links the extensive Babson community around the world, including alumni, parents, friends, academic partners, and companies, in supporting international objectives in academic programs, recruiting, and fundraising. | Undergraduate Admission |
