Orientation
Welcome New Students! We are very excited for you to join the Babson community! We’re busy planning the January 2010 Orientation, and beginning our plans for Fall Orientation 2010! The Orientation program helps you adjust to the Babson lifestyle and eases the transition into college by providing information and answers to any academic, personal, and social questions. Babson’s staff, faculty, and current students will be available throughout Orientation to help in this process.
Orientation is the first experience you will have with your new classmates. You’ll have the opportunity to meet those living in your residence hall, in your Orientation groups, and others during organized events. It will definitely be a time to remember!
We hope that during your first few days here, you’ll begin to form a sense of belonging to our campus and consider it your new home!
Some quotes from students who attended the Fall 2009 Orientation:
“I like that the whole class is broken up into smaller groups because it gives us the chance to get to meet some new students in smaller group settings.”
“The orientation was wonderful.”
“I think the program was very well thought out, it kept up all busy getting to know the campus, faculty and staff, and students.”
“Every peer mentor was beyond helpful.”
