Transfer Students
Congratulations and Welcome to Babson!
You are joining a vibrant and engaging community when you enroll at Babson this coming fall. I will be your academic adviser during your transition to Babson. I will work with you to complete the transfer credit process and to get you acclimated to the Babson community.
Some important notes as you prepare to join Babson:
- New Student Orientation begins Friday, August 28, 2009.
- Classes begin Wednesday, September 2, 2009.
- Your course schedule for Fall 2009 will be based on your transfer credits. You will not need to select your courses. I will create a schedule for you that factors in the courses you have already taken, the structure of our curriculum and course availability for the fall 2009 semester. You will be able to see your schedule online shortly before you arrive on campus for orientation.
- Please submit any course descriptions and syllabi to Babson for courses you have taken elsewhere.
- Please be sure to request an official transcript be sent from your previous institution(s) to Babson. An official transcript is required to complete the credit transfer process.
