Babson College launched the STEP Project in at the 2005 Academic Summit held at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. Now with 10 partner institutions, the STEP Project Europe has held two Summits and is entering its third research cycle of qualitative cases.

ESADE in Barcelona was the host of the 2007 European Summit in September. 35 Family members representing 14 families from throughout Europe joined academics for the 2 day event to apply research findings and learn from each other's best practices.
