WEBnet Consortium and Borrowing
Babson, Olin, Pine Manor, and Regis College Libraries share a catalog which lists the holdings of the 4 library system.
Babson users with a OneCard may request delivery of materials to Horn Library at the Information Desk, using the Place Request option within the catalog, or may check out materials at the other locations given below.
Library Card and PIN Number - Babson OneCard is Your Library Card
Use your OneCard and PIN to:
- check your library account, such as due dates
- renew books
- request or Place Hold on items to delivered from another library
To obtain a PIN number: Students, faculty, and staff may visit Information Desk 1 for a a PIN number or email library@babson.edu to obtain a PIN. Alumni and visitors may request Babson owned books only.
To Place Request for an item from another Library:
Once you find an item in the library catalog click on the Details button on the left, then click Place Request on the left-hand side (under the "Keep" button) enter your User ID (LIB number on your Babson One Card) and your PIN click "Place Request". You will be notified by email when the item arrives at Horn Library. It usually takes a couple days.
If an item you'd like is not in our library catalog, try Interlibrary Loan.
Locating Materials & Collection Descriptions
The Holdings statement indicates the Library of Congress call number (usually a combination of letters then numbers) for the item, plus the number of copies and format of the item (book, video, etc.). Location may refer to a collection, such as Reference, Information Desk 1 or 2, and Stacks, or it may indicate the status of the item, such as Checked-Out or On-Order. More >
