Basic Steps | When you open the Global Insight home page, choose the "DataInsight Web" link from the left hand menu. Search by KEYWORD or CATEGORY: KEYWORD: Enter words to search on a particular topic. For example, for data sets containing the GDP of China, enter: China GDP. CATEGORY: Choose items from categories based on specific criteria, such as country or concept. Search Steps: - Choose Data Source
- Choose Geography (Countries or Regions) and Concept(s)
- Click the Go arrrow in the upper right hand corner
- Find your data series in the Results list
Retrieving Data: Highlight series and save it into a workbook. Then look in the workbook, choose the set, and open it for export. Detailed listing of the 27 available data banks. |

Viewing & Printing Options - From the list of sets you have selected, highlight the set(s) that contain your data series.
- Click on Export to Excel and save your set(s).
- Open your saved set to edit, download, and print.
