An Interactive Installation by Boston Artist Julie Levesque October 28–December 15, 2008
Who: Julie Levesque is a Boston-area artist and former VP and director of product development and marketing at Museum Reproductions, Inc. She is a past winner of the Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant in Sculpture and an Artist’s Resource Trust.
What: “Fork, Knife or Spoon? …a question of identity”: An interactive installation that includes sculpture, posted drawings and responses to the title question, that strives to create a conversation among Babson students and the world on the subject of identity.

When: Exhibit Dates: October 28 – December 15, 2008; 9 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday, and by appointment
Opening Reception: November 6; 5:00–7:00 p.m.
Artist’s Talk: October 28, 12:30 p.m. in Reynolds Center Main Street

The interactive exhibit is comprised of two sculptures, posted drawings and written responses to the question "Fork, Knife or Spoon?", and a table where people can create their own responses, with multiple utensil templates available for inspiration and tracing. There is also a weblog component to the installation www.forkknifeorspoon.comwhere Babson students as well as participants from all over the world, may submit their own self-descriptions by text, e-mail, or posting on the blog. All of these responses will then be posted in the Reynolds Campus Center.
