Babson utilizes one centralized process for selecting individuals for the following leadership positions:

While some positions may have a higher standard, a minimum GPA of 2.5 is required for consideration of all positions. Selected students may not serve as both a Peer Mentor and Resident Assistant concurrently. Complete job descriptions are available below. Information sessions will be held in early February. While attendance at an information session is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged that all interested candidates attend one of these three sessions to learn more about the positions.

Admissions Intern
The Office of Undergraduate Admission is seeking energetic and involved rising juniors and seniors who are excited to share their Babson experience with prospective students to serve as Admission Interns. Following a comprehensive training, responsibilities will include assisting the admission staff in conducting interviews of prospective students, meeting with prospective parents, speaking on panels during admission events and assisting admission counselors with daily responsibilities. CommUnity Educator (CUE)
As a member of the Office of Campus Life Staff, the CommUnity Educator (CUE) is responsible for establishing and maintaining a positive living environment for residents. The CUE is advised by the Manager of Student Diversity and Inclusion. The CUE is responsible for community development activities as well as programming focused on issues of inclusion, diversity and multiculturalism for undergraduate students and the campus; also responsible for staff communication, administrative functions and group/individual assistance. FME Mentor
The responsibilities of an FME Mentor include attending FME Classes, meeting with your faculty, mentoring student businesses, grading homework, proctoring exams and conducting review sessions. The FME Mentors plays an important role in guiding first year students through the Foundation Management and Entrepreneurship Experience. This is a paid position. Honor Board
The role of the student board member is to serve as an unbiased community member along with faculty and staff members to determine facts of the case. The board will also determine responsibility and sanctioning for cases that are brought to the board. The board will hear cases involving Academic Honesty and Integrity as well as Student Conduct matters. All student board members go through an extensive training during the beginning of the fall semester. Contact for the Honor Board is Sara Iszard, siszard@babson.edu.
Peer Mentor
Peer Mentors assist first-year students with their transition into Babson via the new student orientation and the co-facilitation of a First Year Seminar course. Peer Mentors guide and provide support to a cohort of approximately 20 students. Selected Peer Mentors must participate in the training program at the end of August. Additionally, Peer Mentors are required to attend all of Orientation and are expected to regularly attend their assigned FYS section throughout the fall semester. Resident Assistant
A Resident Assistant is a Residential Living staff member in the Office of Campus Life. A Resident Assistant lives and works with residents living within our residential community. Each RA is responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment, which is conducive to a student’s academic and personal success. All Resident Assistants are trained to provide support and assistance to students on a variety of issues. RA training will take place prior to the start of the academic year. Women's Leadership Program
The Women’s Leadership Program is provided through Babson’s Center for Women’s Leadership. While most WLP students are invited to participate in the program as part of the initial Babson admissions process, a few spots are available by application of first year women undergraduates, without scholarship. Opportunities for WLP students include participation in the WLP mentor program, seminars and workshops focused on women and professional life. Becoming part of the WLP requires attendance at major WLP events, participation in the mentor program, and one-on-one meetings with the Program Leaders.
