Media Outreach
Babson PR publicizes newsworthy Babson-related activities to print, radio, television, online, and digital media. Activities include:

• Books
• Conferences
• Events
• Speakers
• Student businesses
• Student activities

The PR staff requires details as soon as possible before events in order to write content, post it online, and deliver it to the media.  Please call or e-mail them in advance to determine if your event/function or news is appropriate for media coverage.

Calendar Notices
Publicity for events that are open to an off-campus audience typically require a one-month lead time.

Faculty Photographs
Babson PR takes photographs of faculty members for use on the Babson Web site and for publicity purposes. Just prior to the first faculty meeting each fall—usually the first Wednesday after Labor Day—a photographer takes head and shoulder faculty photos from noon until 3:30 p.m. An e-mail sent in August alerts faculty to make an appointment if they are new or if their photo is older than three years. Faculty members may request copies of their photo by contacting Nancy Sullivan at x4623 or by e-mail addressed to sullivann@babson.edu.

PR staff can advise members of the community on strategies to meet their publicity needs.
