Health Requirements
All Students
The State of Massachusetts mandates that all college students (graduate and undergraduate) be immunized against certain preventable diseases. These include measles, mumps, rubella, tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis B, and meningitis. The requirement includes two doses of measles vaccine, three doses of hepatitis B vaccine and a tetanus/diphtheria vaccine within the past 10 years. Babson College requires that all students be immunized against varicella (chicken pox) or show that they are immune to the disease. The college must ensure that all students are in compliance with this State mandated immunization law; therefore a student's enrollment process cannot be considered complete until the immunization requirements are fulfilled.
Immunizations are done in Health Services for those students who have not been able to complete their immunization requirements prior to their arrival at Babson. Immunizations are $15.00 each, except for Meningitis and Varicella immunizations which are $100.00 each. Payment is due at the time of the immunization and only cash or checks are accepted. We do not bill for immunizations.
Students may waive the meningitis immunization by signing the State meningitis waiver form which can be accessed by clicking on the MA Meningococcal Vaccination Information/Waiver Form below.

Your previous institution may have copies of your immunization records. You may need to contact that institution's Health Services to request these records.
