Global Management Course GuideThis concentration is sponsored by the Glavin Center for Global Management to allow MBA students to take courses on the practice of global management. By combining course work with an experiential component to broaden the understanding of global management, students interested in internationally active firms will achieve depth in a skill area, such as marketing or finance, and acquire a global mindset. The Global Management Concentration will be noted on your MBA Diploma. Process information will be included in the registration materials and emails from the Glavin Center for Global Management.
Course Requirements
Total of 9 credits to complete concentration
- Required – MOB7559 Global Strategic Management (3 credits offered in Fall 04 Rangan and Spring 05 Jeannet)
- Minimum of at least 3 credits from the following:
- MBA7366 Business Environment of the New Europe 1.5 credit, Spring 05 Jones
- ECN7572 International Business Cycles 1.5 credit, Spring 05
- ECN7570 Global Trade: Policy and Strategy 1.5 credit, Spring 05 Jones
- FIN7509 International Finance 1.5 credit, Fall 04 and Spring 05 MOB7576 Global Business Communication 1.5 credit, possibly on schedule Spring 05
- MKT7560 Global Marketing Strategy 3 credit, Spring 05 {Fall Jeannet & Spring Hennessey}

Register your intent to pursue a concentration in Global Management with the office of program management no later than three months prior to fulfilling degree requirements. Students must have completed a minimum number of core credit requirements prior to registering (see form).
