Door Access Any student living on campus gains access to their building by swiping their OneCard. In addition, resident students have access to other dorms between the hours of 12:00 noon and 9:00 pm. Any questions or problems with clearance authorization should be directed to the Office of Campus Life. However, if you need special access to rooms on campus unrelated to residency, please contact the OneCard Office.
Special Access
In Olin Hall, the main doors, the Babson Consulting Alliance Program (BCAP) rooms, the mentor rooms, the office suites, and the computer lab are all equipped with card access readers. All graduate students are given access to the main doors and computer lab through their OneCard. Students who participate in (BCAP) mentor teams and other activities will be given clearance as needed.
Staff needing access to particular doors need to have their supervisor contact the OneCard Manager via email to request the access.
Lost Cards
It is crucial that you notify the OneCard Office (x5647) and/or Public Safety (x5555) if you misplace your OneCard so that we may deactivate that card. Students will be charged $10 for a OneCard replacement when the card was lost or stolen. Damaged, malfunctioning, or worn out OneCards will be replaced at no cost, and all funds will be transferred. If a student loses more than one card per academic year, the charge per OneCard will be increased to $20 for the second one, with a $10 increase for each additional lost card.
Your OneCard is considered to be activated upon issuance and you are responsible for all charges until you report it missing to the OneCard Office (or Public Safety after hours).
