"To develop and enhance the options of self defense, so they may become viable considerations to the woman who is attacked."
The Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) system is dedicated to teaching women defense concepts and techniques against various types of assaults.
The course begins with a lecture on Awareness, Prevention, Risk Reduction and Avoidance. The class then continues with a hands on self-defense course of instruction, covering easily mastered techniques based on martial arts (but this is not a martial arts program) and personal safety skills taught in a comfortable learning environment.
The course is taught by officers of the Babson Police who are certified by RAD Systems Inc. as instructors. All students are provided with a reference manual outlining the entire program at no cost. The RAD system is the only program of this nature to offer a free lifetime return and practice policy good anywhere in the USA and Canada. Please take advantage of this program!
Classes are taught at various times during the year and are open to all female members of the Babson community. Upcoming classes will be posted on E-mail
