Mission Statement
Purchasing is dedicated to providing prompt and professional attention to each department’s needs, while developing and managing systems, policies and procedures that ensure the best value for the college. Performance will be measured on a yearly basis and will be bench marked to the best industry practices. We will be business partners with all employees and vendors, providing support, information, and analysis that assist in reducing the cost of materials and services. Specific responsibilities include contract management, dispute management and resolution, promoting and contributing to value-producing consortia relationships, training and education within the college about proper procurement practices, and financial analysis.
