Final Exam Information
Undergraduate and Graduate
The Graduate and Undergraduate spring 08 final exam schedules have been posted, as of Tuesday February 12, 2008 Future changes to this schedule will be bolded and highlighted in yellow. Please check back periodically during the semester for changes
The last day to submit an exam conflict to the Registrars office is Friday, April 25th, 2008
Undergraduate Reading Dates: 05/03/08- 05/04/08
Undergraduate Exam Dates: 05/05/08- 05/10/08
Graduate Day Reading Dates: 05/02/08 - 05/04/08
Graduate Day Exam Dates: 05/09/08 - 05/09/08
Graduate Evening Exam Dates: 04/30, 05/01, 05/05, 05/06
For Undergraduate Students:
May 10, 2008- Undergraduate residence halls close at 8:00pm
A Final Exam conflict is 2 exams at the same time or 3 exams scheduled for the same day. If this applies to you please fill out the Final Exam Conflict Form and return it to the Registrar's Office by e-mail to Maura Gogan gogan@babson.edu or in person, 3rd floor Hollister Hall.
All exam conflicts must be submitted by Friday April 25, 2008 for alternative arrangements to be made
If you have need to apply for an excused absence from a final exam please fill out the form Exam Excuse Form. Reasons an excuse from an exam may be granted are listed below:
A student may be excused by the Office of Class Deans from an examination if they meet the criteria outlined in the Undergraduate Handbook. Criteria include, but are not limited to, a serious illness, death in the immediate family, observance of a religious holiday, and NCAA intercollegiate athletic events. All students who will miss an examination must submit this form to the Office of Class Deans prior to the exam.

For Graduate Students:
A final exam conflict occurs when two exams are scheduled at the same time or a student has more than 6 hours of exams scheduled for the same day. If this applies to you please fill out the Final Exam Conflict Form and return it to the Registrar's Office by e-mail to Maura Gogan gogan@babson.edu or in person, 3rd floor Hollister Hall.
According the Graduate Student handbook (pg 43), below is the policy for MBA students regarding final exam excuses:
"Permission to miss a Final Exam must be obtained prior to the exam from Graduate Programs & Student Affairs x4474, in cases in which there are extenuating circumstances. Such extenuating circumstances include, but are not limited to serious illness, supported by a doctor's certification, death in immediate family, an observance of a religious holiday.
The following are NOT considered extenuating circumstances: oversleeping, travel (business travel confirmed in writing in advance is acceptable for part-time students), disabled vehicles, or misunderstanding the schedule."
