NEW Intensive Elective Registration Procedure

Please Note: Fast Track students must complete the core of their program (BBIs and ABLs) before enrolling in an intensive elective

Intensive Electives are 1.5 Credits

Starting Fall 07 Students will register for Intensive Electives through online course registration. Students with the greatest number of earned credits, thus closer to graduation, will register first.

  • Registration Information - Students will be notified of their registration dates via email to their Babson email account.

  •  Time Conflicts: Students are responsible to check the meeting dates for all intensives.  If a student is registered for Intensives that have common dates the Registrars Office will drop one of the Intensives.

  • Waitlists - Starting Fall 07 there will no longer be wait lists for Intensive Electives.  After add/drop closes September 6, 2007,  if a space becomes available, to add a course students must email intensiveelectives@babson.edu.  These emails will be processed on a first come first serve basis.

  • Dropping an Intensive - To drop a course after add/drop closes September 6, 2007, students must email by midnight on the day of the first class meeting intensiveelectives@babson.edu.

  • NO TUITION REFUND will be given after the first class meeting

  • The maximum number of Intensive Elective courses that a student may take while at Babson is 4. This is an increase from maximum of 2 in previous semesters. It is the students responsibilty to adhere to this policy.  If a student exceeds the 4 course limit, the Registrars Office will drop the student from an Intensive Elective of our choosing.
