On-Campus Recruiting

CCD’s On-Campus Interviewing (OCI) program attracts organizations to campus to interview Babson students for full-time and internship opportunities. OCI accounts for hundreds of employers coming to campus each year to conduct interviews in CCD’s Interview Suite in Hollister Hall.

What kinds of organizations recruit on campus?

The majority of organizations choosing to interview at Babson are those that have regular, predictable hiring patterns.   The industries include, but are not limited to, financial services, consumer products, consulting, accounting, tech, healthcare, and not for profit.   Companies that target Babson range from small start-ups to fortune 500 companies.

How does OCI work?

OCI works through a system called Handshake and is an integrated on-line system which gives you access to OCI job and internship postings, and CCD event registration — specifically targeted at Babson students. Using Handshake you will be able to:

  • Identify organizations coming to Babson to recruit
  • Read job and organizational descriptions
  • Submit application materials (resumes, cover letters, unofficial transcripts) for employers to review
  • Determine if you have been selected for particular interviews
  • Sign up for a specific interview time

How often should I check Handshake?

Every day! It is important to check daily so that you do not miss any deadlines and new opportunities are always being posted.

When are the Handshake deadlines?

Please see the individual job postings for deadlines. Be aware that although web servers sometimes go down, our deadlines don’t change.  If you wait until the last minute to meet recruiting deadlines and the server goes down, you may miss out on opportunities.  We encourage you to complete all activities associated with recruiting at least 24 hours in advance.
