Foundation Program

In the Foundation semesters, you'll take both business and liberal arts courses. All of the Foundation courses provide the basic skills and knowledge on which you'll build the rest of your Babson education.

As you begin to master the business side of the Foundation curriculum through the Foundation of Management and Entrepreneurship, you will also learn to write and speak effectively and persuasively; read literature, philosophy, and examine art; explore historical concepts or events; and tackle quantitative skills on a different level.

At the end of the Foundation semesters, you'll have a sense of your intellectual abilities and a better understanding of how you might like to use them.

Foundation Courses Include:

  • Foundations of Management and Entrepreneurship(FME)
  • Financial Accounting
  • Rhetoric A & B
  • Arts and Humanities Foundation Course
  • History and Society Foundation Course
  • Science Foundation Course
  • Law Foundation Course
  • Quantitative Methods with Calculus
  • Probability and Statistics
