Babson offers three application plans for first-year applicants: Early Decision, Early Action, and Regular Decision. Students may only submit one application per academic year. All first-year students enter Babson in the fall semester.
The descriptions below should help you decide which decision plan is best for you.
Early Decision
If Babson is your first choice and you are sure this is the school for you, you should apply Early Decision. Early Decision means you have made a commitment to attend Babson if you are admitted. The advantage is that you can apply early and, if you’re accepted, your college search process is over by the end of December! If a student's application is denied from the Early Decision program, you may not re-apply for Regular Decision.
Application Deadline: November 1
Notification: December 15
Deposit due: January 15
Early Action
If you apply Early Action, you’ll receive your admission decision early but you are not required to make a decision until May 1, 2007. If a student's application is denied from the Early Action program, they MAY NOT re- apply for Regular Decision.
Application Deadline: November 1
Notification: January 1
Deposit due: May 1
Regular Decision
Application Deadline: January 15
Notification: By April 1
Deposit due: May 1
Please be sure to indicate on your application which decision plan you have chosen.
